Providence College, Koffler Hall
Roof Replacement
Providence, RI
The Project
Koffler Hall was built circa 1930 with load-bearing brick masonry exterior walls. The roof, measuring approximately 7,000 sf, consists of a steep-sloped wood-framed structure, a wood plank deck, and asphalt shingles. The client requested Gale to provide design and consulting services for a new roof and accompanying drainage system. The design included a new watertight roof assembly and shingles matching those recently installed at other nearby campus buildings.
