Indefinite Delivery Contract – Building Envelope Renovations

Gale has performed effectively and efficiently on IDIQ Term Contracts directly with the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, and through a five-year IDIQ with MIDLANT. The focus of Gale’s services has been on exterior building envelope weatherization and structural repairs and site improvements. Representative projects under these term contracts include the following:
- Cutler Power Plant – Design of a complete overhaul of the facilities drainage system to include foundation drain replacement, foundation waterproofing, culvert analysis and replacement and Low Impact Development (LID) techniques as required; performed in-depth hydraulic analysis for culverts and swales that discharge to environmentally sensitive areas such as Machias Bay
- Northern sites surveys – Full-scale survey and GIS data collection program at four sites equaling over 6,000 acres
- Building 291 – Site survey and utility improvements in conjunction with a 1,500 sf building addition
- Roof replacements at Buildings 14, 18, 20, 60, 72, 86, 96, 170, and 291, 300
- Roof repairs at Buildings 45, 75, 91, 170, and 240
- Fall protection systems
- Waterproofing designs
- Exterior masonry wall restorations at Buildings 2, 7, 14, 29, 60, 72, 86, 86A, 96, 155, 162, 170, 291, H-1 (includes historic)
- Seismic evaluation
- Blast resistant window renovations at Building 29
- Historic window rehabilitations at Buildings 7, 18, 29, 44, and 60
- Additional projects include Design/Build exterior renovations at Buildings H-1 and 86A, and exterior windows at Building 60
