Nashua Airport Runway Feasibility StudyGale’s Solution

  • Reclassified airport from BII to DII (Gulfstream IV)
  • Recommended eliminating secondary runway proposal
  • Relocated runway 300 ft.to North/Extended runway by 500 ft.
  • Installed new obstruction lights, ILS Glide Path, MIRLS, PAPIs, and relocated Localizer
  • Existing runway to remain operational during construction
  • Relocate stub taxiways
  • Provide standard Runway Safety Areas (500’x1,000’)
  • Utilize declared distances to maximize takeoff characteristics
  • Prepare Obstruction Analysis and obtain easements to remove airspace obstructions from residential, commercial, and institutional properties
