Why did you choose this career? This job kind of chose me. I had my own business that felt was wrapping up. I was offered a part-time opportunity to help Gale monitor an ongoing job because of my experience in the construction industry. I accepted the offer and started in July 2005. At the end of September, Gale offered me a full-time position, which I accepted.
What is your favorite part of your job? Honestly, I have several “favorite” parts of my job. I love being in the field with the workers, as that is my background. I also love interacting with owners and helping projects get completed to their satisfaction. I love that over the years of being with Gale, my superiors have trusted me to make sound decisions in the field, and in representing Gale professionally.
Who are you outside of Gale? Outside of Gale I have numerous hobbies. I love doing lighting and sound gigs and running the sound board at my Church. I am also an avid fisherman; some people say I’m obsessed. I fish nearly every Saturday and take fishing vacations. Salt or fresh water, it does not matter, if you’re fishing, I’m there!
Fun Fact: I love the Blues and late 60’s and 70’s Motown. Some of my favorite groups are B.B King, Eric Clapton, Joe Bonamassa and 5th Dimension and War.
