Why did you choose this career? I chose architecture because I enjoy design, traveling, and the puzzle of how all the pieces come together to create a successful building project. In this career, I appreciate that I get to collaborate, problem-solve, and spend time out in the field watching building components come together (or apart) in real-life.
What is your favorite part of your job? I learn something new every day! I also love that this role allows me to focus on specific aspects of building design and construction, while at the same time providing a complex, fast-paced, and interesting work environment.
Who are you outside of Gale? Outside of Gale, I enjoy spending time with my friends, family, husband, and our two Australian Cattle Dogs. I always have multiple DIY projects going on at home, and I like crafting, painting, cooking, traveling, and spending time outdoors. I also really enjoy road trips and visiting my family in Maine.
Fun Fact: What is your dream vacation? I have a long list of places I would like to travel to, but currently on the top of my list are The Philippines, Hawaii, Portugal, and visiting all the U.S. National Parks.
